Where you at? Bale coming back probably today, looking like great spot for over. Also liking the spurs as well, two teams going in opposite directions.

yeah..always on the over from the get-go with the seasiders...not too sure on bale's return?.. think him and van der vaart are back in 10-14 days...though i know they are hurting at the back pretty bad..which could make for their whack-a-do goalie gomes forced into a long evening...and blackpool is a mess in net as well...this could be put to bed by half if all goes according to plan...just can't wait fer this one to end cuz the dick sucking by both managers this week has been nauseating to say the least....cheers...

The preview I read said this "Welsh winger Gareth Bale could make a return to action after recovering from a back injury but it will be touch and go right up to kick-off." In any case, think enough time has passed for there not to be a letdown after the AC Milan win, so liking both spurs and over. Going to wait for lineups before confirmation though.

And although he will miss Tuesday's Premier League outing to Blackpool, Redknapp expects Bale to be back in contention shortly.

"Gareth is slowly improving and hopefully he's on his way back," Redknapp told Sky Sports.

"He won't play tomorrow but shouldn't be out for too long."

Star playmaker Rafael van der Vaart is also out of contention after aggravating a calf injury in training. Van Der Vaart, who picked up the original knock in a 2-1 win over Bolton earlier this month, is expected to be fit again in 10 days' time.

Fellow casualties Vedran Corluka (leg) and Jonathan Woodgate (groin) will also miss the Tangerines clash as they nurse injuries sustained in last week's 1-0 win over AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League.

"Corluka had scans and will be out for a while, certainly not tomorrow and not sure how long after that," said Redknapp.

"Jonathan got a setback in Milan, he got a twinge and we felt it was pretty bad but it isn't, he's working his way back and shouldn't be too bad."

There is some good news for Redknapp as Luka Modric is available after a recent appendix operation

Yes, you are correct, crouch is not starting either as he did vs. milan.

well done cocktail, i will take the push with the first spur goal coming at 92:50 on a fluky deflection. It was somewhat deserved after all the ridiculous chances they had all game. Was clear they missed van der vaart and bale as no one could finish.
